Top rated school closed over bullying reports.

Lead British International School in Abuja, Nigeria has been shut down over alleged bullying cases that involved some of the students within the school premises

Videos of assault have been circulating in the social media raising a lot of concern and sparking criticism from netizens who demanded accountability of the same from the school administration and implored for effective anti- bulling measures.

Parent stormed the school demanding for answers and justice for the victims.

Namtira, one female victim was abused in two separate occasions, once during a talk shop session and also in the school cafeteria.

In one particular incident, the footage depicted the victim who was constantly subjected to physical abuse and what seemed like a series of threats from the fellow students.

Alone and helpless, the victim portrayed agony as she was repeatedly slapped by her fellow classmate

What raised more concern is that these assaults happened in the presence of school staff and nothing was being done to manage the situation.

In a separate incident, a nine second video depicted some male students who were in school attire surrounding another boy who seemed to be in casual clothes.

One student continuously slapped the boy as the other students who had gathered acted in defence by holding the bully from further assaulting him.
